“And no one pours new wine into old wineskins. Otherwise, the wine will burst the skins, and both the wine and the wineskins will be ruined. No, they pour new wine into new wineskins.” Mark 2:22
What exactly did Jesus mean when He spoke the parable; “no one pours new wine into old wineskins”? I’m sure He meant that we need to free ourselves from the old in order for the new things to flourish in our lives. To renew our minds daily, by meditating on the word of God. To change our hearts and to guard it at all times, for out of it flows life. To live Holy and Pure before our maker and King- Jesus Christ. To live and walk in Righteousness & Perfect Peace. The reason why many people does not move forward, is because the old is still surfacing and the new cannot materialize. New and Old does work together and God can’t give you something new, if you still dwelling on the old path. It’s time to let go and renew yourself. Get new Ideas, take new Ventures, take on new Challenges, and to get ready for new Opportunities.
As we get ready for the new things that awaits us in 2021, I prophesy, freedom from all the old in the name of Jesus – in all areas of your life. You will embrace new things.
