Then Jesus told his disciples, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. Matthew 16:24
When we follow GOD you don’t follow the Crowd. It’s either God or nothing. Following the Crowd, does not mean that GOD is there. All the way to the Cross, Jesus was focused on following God and the assignment that was set out for Him to complete. That assignment was to pay the price for all of us. He did not go half way, but all the way.
You taking up your cross, is a daily task. Following God with your worries, your fears, your present trials, tribulations, and through the storms of life will give you the Victory that you need. Jesus never promised it to be easy, but He promised it to be worth It. This means that everything you facing right now or even to come, is seasonal – there will come an end. God will give you the breakthrough you need and He will answer your prayers. As long as our eyes is fixed on Him, the author and the Finisher of our Faith.
