” That day when evening came, he said to his disciples, “Let us go over to the other side.” Leaving the crowd behind, they took him along, just as he was, in the boat. There were also other boats with him. A furious squall came up, and the waves broke over the boat, so that it was nearly swamped. Jesus was in the stern, sleeping on a cushion. The disciples woke him and said to him, “Teacher, don’t you care if we drown?”He got up, rebuked the wind and said to the waves, “Quiet! Be still!” Then the wind died down and it was completely calm. He said to his disciples, “Why are you so afraid? Do you still have no faith?”Mark 4:35-40

Faith is always optimistic- knowing that God is in control. Fear is always in doubt, questioning the what if’s in every situation. God wants us to be optimistic, knowing He is always with us and in full control. See the disciples was in the boat and they knew Jesus was with them (the one that made all things, that even the wind and the waves obeyed Him), yet they still feared for their lives when the storm arose.
Sometimes things can be overwhelming, especially in the times that we are living in and yet still to enter. It is important that we know and are confident in the one that is walking with us. In Him we live in Him we move and in Him we have our being. It’s is important that we stay focused on Him. Rely in His power. Trust Him with all of our heart and He will pave the way straight.
I pray for you, may God give you Faith to navigate through the storms of life. May your Faith be rooted in Him, knowing that He cares for you and that He is always with you. May you have enough Faith to be optimistic in every season of your life and in every given situation that you may find yourself.
