“And no one puts new wine into old wineskins; or else the new wine will burst the wineskins and be spilled, and the wineskins will be ruined. But new wine must be put into new wineskins, and both are preserved. ”Luke 5:37-38

The old and the new don’t mix well together. The Old might be comfortable, because of familiarity but growth will be impossible. On the contrary the new always create environment for change and blessings which is inevitable. Changing into the new and making room for the new is not just another resolution, but a lifestyle. And to have a lifestyle that attracts the new, requires us to lay down the old. The word is our foundation and it can never lie. And no one puts new wine into old wineskins; or else the new wine will burst the wineskins and be spilled, and the wineskins will be ruined. But new wine must be put into new wineskins, and both are preserved. It’s time to make room for the new and put away the old.
